Quran

Would you like to be spoken to by Allah, the exalted? What will you feel if you have a chance to do that?

“If you would to speak to Allah, you will need to pray. If you would like Allah to speak to you, you will need to recite the Holy Quran”. Do you feel now how it is important to learn how to recite Quran and memorize it? Let’s go through multiple reasons why a Muslim should learn how to recite quraan whether online or offline.

The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says;

“The best amongst you is he who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.”

It is certain that those who read Quran and teaches it are the best. They have the best manners amongst us. They do not feel the emptiness or the confusion of those who are away from the Holy Quran. Their life is enlightened by the light of the Holy Quran. They are guided by Allah to the most right path. Reading the Holy Quran will help you discover direction in your life. The effect of reading and understanding Quran will surely take you from the depth of darkness to light.

There are great differences between the Holy Quran and any other books. The Holy Quran is the word of Allah sent to human beings through the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). The Prophet says;

“O people I am leaving behind among you the Holy Book (Quran) and the Sunnah (way of Prophet (SAW)), if you follow these in letter and spirit you will never be strayed.”

This Hadith explains that this book is a means of success for all humanity, not only in this world, but in the Hereafter. This has been proven to be true. When Muslims were following the Holy Quraan and the instructions and orders of Allah, they were the masters of this world. As soon as they got detached from it, they lost everything. Once the Holy Quran is behind our backs, we are behind the back of the world. The catastrophic thing is that we will lose our here after as well.

Once more, the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) stresses on the importance of Quran. He said;

“The one who reads a single letter from the Book of Allah will be rewarded with one good deed. (Know that) A good deed is multiplied ten times over. I do not say Alif Laam Meem is one letter. Verily, Alif is one letter, Laam is one letter, Meem is one letter.”

Now, do you know how many letters are there in the Holy Quraan? They are 321180. Reading the Holy Quran only once will guarantee you 321180 good deeds. Wait a second; this number is multiplied by 10. Now, reading the Holy Quran only once, will grant you 3211800 good deeds. This is in addition to all the morals and lessons you can learn directly from your creator.

Learning Quran might sound difficult. However, Allah, Himself, Guarantees that if you have a true intention to learn it, it will be easy for you. Allah, the Exalted says;

“And We have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?”

Every Prophet came with his miracles that were suitable only for the people during their times. However Islam’s Miracle is the Holy Quran. It is everlasting, and it suits people of all ages. Quran has been delivered to Native Arabs in the Arabic Gulf. It has challenged them to come with a Surah, or a single Ayah of this Quran, but they could not. Allah the Greatest says;

“Say: If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others.”

“Or, do they say: He has forged it. Say: Then bring ten forged chapters like it and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful. But if they do not answer you, then know that it is revealed by Allah’s knowledge and that there is no god but He; will you then submit?”

“And if you are in doubt as to that which We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like it and call on your witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful. But if you do (it) not and never shall you do (it), then be on your guard against the fire of which men and stones are the fuel; it is prepared for the unbelievers.”

It is not only a miracle of its own. It has scientific miracles that recent scientists have discovered, or are still discovering. Let’s go through some Quranic verses that are referring to miracles;

“And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.”

“And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.”

“It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.”

“And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth]”

“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?”

“Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.”
